To start from where I left off, on Saturday night Matt and I watched Cinderella, and I actually loved it! Yes, it had some corny parts, but I think it was done tastefully, and I have always loved Disney.
We began our Sunday with an amazing brunch. First up was making an organic English breakfast tea latte. One of my favorite parts of the weekend is taking breakfast slow. I sipped my tea from a mug instead of a thermos, and then we moved on to our meal. Matt is awesome at cooking eggs, so he was in charge of making our omelets.
Ham-brie-spinach along with an Old Mill Bread Co. Montana sourdough roll with mashed avocado, lime, salt, pepper, and pomegranate seeds for me. The avocado wasn’t a pretty one but still tasted great. Matt had ham-cheddar-spinach with rye toast topped with lignonberry jam.
Last year, Stefanie and I attended the first annual Pickle Fest, which is a celebration of food preservation. We had an absolute blast!
It was so much fun in fact that this year, my girl and I attended and again had a wonderful time. Amazing food, fun booths, and beautiful weather. You just can’t beat it.
Stef snapped a picture as I was about to park. 😉 We then spotted this truck, which we both loved, especially the bumper sticker.
The turquoise color is one of my favorites, and I love the red coming through!
Pickle Fest is held at the Riverdale School, which I find to be so charming. It looks like the perfect wedding and party venue! Even more vendors were present this year. I wanted to get a picture with the guy above dressed in the pickle costume, but unfortunately, he took it off before I had a chance. Bummer.
First up was lunch, and I finally got to try Cruze Farm’s Banh Mi Dog along with Three Bears iced coffee. It was incredible! Sweet, spicy, and bursting with flavor with crisp veg on top.
Stefanie had their coffee milk and a chili dog with a classic Coke.
After finishing our meal, we shopped around the booths, and I found some really cute things.
The soap and mineral eye shadow are made by Wonderland Bath. I adore their theme.
I have been wanting potted succulents for our patio for so long now, and I finally found the perfect arrangement! I mean, that bathtub was too cute to pass up. 😉
We saw this pig just walking around and discovered his name was Spoon. How funny!
We just had to get our ice cream fix. Of course I chose pumpkin, and I’m telling you, it tastes just like pumpkin pie.
Chocolate ice cream cone for Stef!
This weekend was just what I needed. I so love supporting our community and exploring with my girl!
