I realize it’s Wednesday, but I wanted to go ahead and share some of things I’ve been loving and discovering as of late! What are things you consider to be your favorites?
Sunrises and sunsets around our home have always been breathtaking. I caught this sunset one evening when I stepped outside. That orange always puts me in awe.
Although I love Barre3, I love to get out on walks some while it’s nice out because in the winter, I’ll be able to ramp up my Barre3 with it being too miserable to walk. I saw these beautiful zinnias (thanks to my friend who told me what they were!) one afternoon, and I had to stop and take a photo.
After allowing our crepe myrtle to grow far too big, our townhome builders finally had the yard service trim them back. I came home from work, and when I stepped outside, I was shocked by how open and bright it now looked! I had just watered our succulents, so it looks like I, “wet my plants”. Lolz
These GF Cheddar Bunny Tails Crackers by Annie’s Homegrown are delicious. One evening we used them as croutons over a salad topped with rotisserie chicken. Quick, simple, and oh so satisfying. My kind of weeknight meal!
These aren’t my favorite type of Clif bar, but I have wanted to try the smoothie-filled. It kept me full for around two to three-ish hours, so I was thankful for that.
I picked up a box of Soozy’s Sweet Potato Muffins to try, and they taste wonderful with a nice texture. I don’t like their marketing of being “clean”, though. Other muffins aren’t dirty if they contain white flour and sugar. These have proven handy to have around for a quick snack or breakfast paired with fruit + yogurt and/or eggs.
I received a coupon for $1 off two Siggi’s new Sides, and I finally found them at our WF. I chose the honey yogurt with dried figs and walnuts. It was really enjoyable, but I personally wanted to add a little more honey. Next time I buy it, I will do so when I eat it.
I truly have the sweetest coworkers! One has listened to me go on about Matt and my home search, and she’s been extremely helpful. She knows I’ve been stressed, so she surprised me with this ah-mazing smelling candle!! How incredibly thoughtful is that? Matt lit it before we had dinner, and it was perfect. It emits a lovely fragrance without being overbearing like some candles can be.
I needed a new lip balm and decided to try Simple Truth’s Strawberry Lavender. It’s very soft, and it smells heavenly. I’m a Burt’s Bees lover, but I love this product too!
I also picked up this nail polish at Kroger, and despite it being a little lower on the quality scale (I’m comparing to Essie and OPI), I love it! No, my nails are not salon-worthy, but I love just having a pop of color. I took this photo almost three days into wearing it, and not a noticeable scratch yet. It’s a shade of thyme that I think will translate into fall beautifully. I love it paired with mustard and deep red colors!
Crappy morning light, but this is my second jumper from Val’s, and man oh man do I love it! Give me all the lemon print things.
I wore my jean jacket to make it work appropriate.
