Friday Favorites and Finds!

Happy last Friday of June! Hoowww has the time flown this quickly? Gosh, s l o w down. I hope you’ve had a fabulous week! As always, I’ve tried to save some favs and finds to share with you all. I hope you enjoy!

First up is this super fun dress I found on Amazon thanks to my sweet dad’s Amazon gift card for my birthday! I love this classic style with a fun, bright twist. I’m sorry for the poor lighting.

New glasses from Eye Buy Direct!! All thanks to Kaci for suggesting I give them a try. I love to have choices. 😉

These sunglasses are adorable! Kaci bought them first in the other color offered, so I give her full credit for finding them.

One of my favorite shirts that I found at Planet Xchange. I realized I hadn’t worn it in quite a while!

New Chacos from Amazon too! Love the colors, and Matt even realized they mimicked the two colors that stood out from our wedding: turquoise and red <3

I am forever obsessed with all the clothes that Abigail shares! I bought this fun 1980’s vintage Mandarin collar dress from her and love it so much. The length and flowy fabric are perfect.

I’m always up for trying new foods and products! Convenience foods get a bad rap, but they’re so helpful when you’re tight on time.

Case in point: we accidentally overslept by an hour this week (!), so I quickly heated the Dr. Praeger’s meal and enjoyed it over spinach. Quick, simple, and nourishing.

I bought a jar of mushroom Marsala simmering sauce from Aldi while back and finally used it Thursday evening. I cooked chicken thighs, and my gosh it was lick-the-plate-clean tasty! We loved it. There’s enough leftover sauce to toss with pasta this weekend too.

I also prepared a frittata for our Friday breakfast! I used this recipe to base ours from, and it turned out really well. I used eight eggs, 1/4 c milk, 2 oz. freshly shredded sharp cheddar, one onion, two cloves of garlic, and two cups steamed broccoli pearls. I sauteed it all in our cast iron skillet then added the eggs/milk/cheese. I topped it with the last of our cooked salmon and transferred it to the oven.

I bought these adorable canvas prints from Amazon to update our dining room and am so excited!

The rest of your fashun is so on point too. Always get so much inspo from you!

Yes- I am soo glad you mentioned this—I think convenience food has come such a long way in recent years where it actually can be a very healthy choice–And it is ohhh so necessary at times!

Genius to top the frittata with salmon- YUM!

Ahh you got those canvas from Amazon?! Seriously- Amazon is the BEST. Those are incredible!!! *insert the heart eyes*

    1. Absolutely zipped by! Soaking up all we can in this last 1.5 months of summer!

Thank you so much!! It’s one of my favorites now.

Thank you! I’ve been wearing them a ton. I try to rotate with my other spectacles too, but I’m really loving wearing this torty pair. 🤓

      I appreciate that so much!

Amen!! I’d rather have a yummy convenience food than nothing at all or to be cooking from scratch when we’re low on time.

      Smoked salmon is soooo good!

I love Amazon finds! These really “perked up” our space.

I’m so so glad that it does!! xo

      1. Totally agree about having something yummy and convenient- and sometimes I “intend” to make something from scratch, but then run out of time and end up snacking on a bunch of random things anyways when it would be way more satisfying to have had a pre-made convenience meal!
